Costa Maya cruise-ship terminal is a privately owned port complex and exclusively operated by cruise lines. Local tour companies are not allowed to have pick up service inside the complex nor have any representatives inside the port. All the excursions inside the Costa Maya port complex are operated only by cruise lines, if you book an excursion with ShoreExperience you will have to leave the port complex in order to find our location and representatives.

Start time: This excursion is especially planned to meet cruise ship schedule, starting time mainly depends on your ship’s time of arrival, you will have a maximum of 45 minutes to get to our location once the ship has docked and has opened the doors for people to get off. Your driver and guide will be waiting for you with a sign with your name on it. Remember this is a shared excursion, punctuality is very important, in order to take full advantage of the activity we must start on time. Please be respectful of other people’s time and be ready to start the excursion as soon as you get to the meeting point. Use the restroom and change your clothes before you leave the ship. If you cancel at least 7 day(s) in advance of the scheduled departure, there is no cancellation fee. You’ll discover the most spectacular lagoon in Mexico when you join us for a day-long shore excursion in the Bacalar Lagoon and its captivating views that will leave you breathless.

01 :

Pick up at Costa Maya

You will be picked up outside of the Costa Maya cruise ship terminal, it is very importante to follow instructions shown in the following link to meet your tour guide: HOW TO FIND US

02 :

Travel to Bacalar - 1 hour 10 minutes

You’ll step aboard our private air conditioned vehicle that will take you to our beautiful marina right on the Bacalar Lagoon.

03 :

Boat Tour - 2 hours

We’ll cruise out in our pontoon boat for relaxation and pampering by our attentive crew as you take in captivating views of Bacalar that will leave you breathless, where you will have the opportunity to splash in the clear waters of this stunning lagoon. As soon as we start our adventure in the lagoon you’ll be amazed by the different shades of blue and understand why is frequently referred as the 7 color lagoon. During the tour our crew will prepare a delicious and healthy fruit snack that will be perfect for the occasion.

04 :

Taco Lunch - 45 minutes

After we are done with our boat tour we will take you to our favorite restaurant to enjoy some delicious and authentic mexican tacos (pork, beef or shrimp) served along guacamole. (We have vegetarian and vegan options upon request).

05 :

Back to Costa Maya - 1 hour

Finally we will take you back to port Costa Maya on time to board your ship.
